This is a Factory OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Mazda MX-5 Miata 4 Button keyless entry remote, aka "key fob".
Genuine OEM key fob remote with a new key.
2016-2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata
Must be programmed by a professional automotive locksmith or dealership.
Expect professional programmers to charge programming fees.
Note: Due to new firmware that Mazda vehicles have been updated with, programming of the key will need a passthrough device and an online Mazda subscription. Other programming methods may prove to be unsuccessful.
We are proud to offer true OEM key fobs direct to you at up to 80% off dealer prices. There is a catch though, so here it goes:
You need to know the only way to get a NEW OEM key fob is to go to a dealer or authorized reseller of OEM parts, and you will pay dealer prices if you do this and spend hundreds of dollars.
The key fob you are going to purchase from us is used or as we like to say "previously loved". We recycle OEM key fobs and put them through a rigorous refurbishing process so we can guarantee our products and offer them at a reasonable price along with saving the environment. Oh, and we are not robbing you of your hard earned dollars like the stealership does. So if you are good with all of this what are you waiting for? Make your life easier, order a key fob from us and save the world!
Failed to do my homework and checked the programming page before buying. 2019 Mazda cannot be self programmed. I had the wrong impression of “easy programming instructions included.” Took to automotive locksmith, the key I was sent had a different FCC ID and couldn’t be programmed, so having to return it. Frustrating process. Was quickly shipped and looked well made.
My Mazda dealer successfully programed the key. It works. However, it set a PERMANENT red light on my dash for a "Remote Fault." I convinced the dealer to try a second time. (Not easy.) But even on second programming, the fault light remains. The dealer claims it wasn't a true Mazda OEM key. For $500, they'd use their own key and remove the light. Black tape is far cheaper and won.
Got my spare Key Fob quickly. Looks brand new (no scratches). Best $50 bucks I’ve spent instead of going through the dealership! Thanks guys!
