This is a Factory OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) GM 3 Button keyless entry remote, aka "key fob".

Obtain all remote transmitters for this vehicle.
1. Close vehicle door.
2. Turn ignition to ON then back to OFF (ON is the position just shy of starting car without cranking engine)
3. Remove key from ignition.
4. Press and hold the UNLOCK switch on drivers door and continue to hold until instructed to release.
5. Insert key into the ignition (do not turn it) and remove it.
6. Insert key into the ignition (do not turn it) and remove it.
7. Insert key into the ignition (do not turn it) and leave it in.
8. Release the UNLOCK switch on drivers door. Vehicle will respond with three acoustic sounds to indicate successful entry into programming mode.
9. Press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on first remote until vehicle beeps twice indicating successful programming. This step may take about 15 seconds.
10. Repeat step 9. for all remaining remotes including working ones.
11. Remove key from ignition to exit programming mode and test all remotes.s.
Obtain all remote transmitters for this vehicle.
1. Close all doors.
2. Insert key into the ignition cylinder but do not turn it.
3. Press and hold the Unlock button on door lock switch on drivers door.
Hold until instructed to release in step 6.
4. Remove key from ignition and then insert key into ignition without turning ignition cylinder and remove key.
5. Insert key in ignition a third time and leave key in ignition. Do Not turn ignition.
6. Release door lock switch on drivers door panel.
A Chime will sound 3 times indicating that you are in programming mode.
7. Press both the Lock and Unlock buttons on the remote up to 30 seconds.
A chime will sound 2 times if remote has programmed successful.
8. Repeat step 7 if you are programming additional remotes.
9. Remove key from ignition to exit programming mode.
NOTE: If you are having trouble getting this procedure to work, we have found that some vehicles need step 3 to be done before step 2.
Obtain all remote transmitters for this vehicle.
1. Remove key from ignition.
2. Remove the MALL PGM/BCM PGM fuse from fuse box.
3. Close all doors.
4. Turn ignition switch to ACC. (ACC is turning the key back toward you).
5. Within 1 second turn the ignition to OFF then back to ACC. (OFF is the position where you can remove your key)
6. Open then close the drivers door.
7. An acoustic sound will be heard after closing the door indicating the vehicle is in programming mode.
8. Hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the remote for about 15 seconds until two chimes are heard.
9. Repeat step 8 for any additional remotes including working ones.
10. Remove key from ignition and replace MALL PGM fuse.
11. Test all remotes.
